RISK DISCLOSURE

Risk Disclosure & Usage Notes

Read this page in full before connecting an exchange, running automated strategies or enabling live on-chain trading with Quanton. Automation improves execution — it does not remove market, technical or operational risk.

Updated 2026-08-29Applies to web and mobile services
Important: digital-asset trading can lose part or all of your principal, and leverage or futures can magnify losses within minutes. Quanton guarantees no returns, does not make investment decisions for you, and provides no personalized investment, legal or tax advice.
01 / SERVICE

Nature of Service & No Investment Advice

Quanton provides software for trading automation, data display, strategy validation and assistive analysis. Templates, default parameters, AI answers, market information and risk alerts shown on the platform are general tools and information — never a recommendation to buy, sell or hold any digital asset.

Quanton does not assess your full financial situation, goals, experience or risk tolerance. Whether to run a strategy, which parameters to adopt and how much to commit are always your decisions.

02 / MARKET

Digital-Asset Market Risk

Prices can swing violently on liquidity, policy, sentiment, news, project events, manipulation or other unpredictable factors. You may not fill at expected prices, and you may lose part or all of the funds committed.

  • Markets can gap, wick, show abnormal spreads or dry up entirely;
  • Stop orders are not guaranteed to fill at the set price;
  • Small-cap tokens carry higher slippage, manipulation, delisting and go-to-zero risk.
03 / AUTOMATION

Automation & Unattended Operation Risk

Once enabled, a strategy keeps placing orders while you are not watching. Misconfiguration, sudden moves, duplicate signals, latency or ill-fitting guards can all create unintended positions or losses. Automation is not the absence of management.

Start with paper trading and small size. Set per-order size, max position, stop loss and daily risk caps, and check strategy status, fills and alerts regularly.
04 / STRATEGY

Strategies, Suggested Parameters & Backtest Limits

Backtests, simulations, win rates, returns and AI verifications rest on specific data, assumptions and market phases. They may underweight live slippage, fees, funding, latency, book depth or extreme conditions — past performance does not indicate future results.

Strategies can overfit history and break when market structure changes. Copying an official template, suggested parameters or someone else's strategy does not make it right for your account or risk tolerance.

05 / LEVERAGE

Futures, Leverage & Forced Liquidation

Leverage magnifies gains and losses alike. Fast adverse moves, insufficient margin, accumulated funding or exchange risk-control changes can trigger deleveraging, forced liquidation or clawback. Stops and hedges cannot guarantee you avoid liquidation in every case.

If margin, mark price, liquidation price and funding are not concepts you understand, do not enable futures or leveraged strategies.

06 / API

Exchange API, Authorization & Account Security

Quanton reads your account and executes trades through API keys you create. Keys, secrets and passphrases are stored encrypted, but no online system can promise zero risk.

  • Grant only read and trade permissions — always disable withdrawal and transfer;
  • Use a dedicated key, enable the exchange's IP allowlist, rotate regularly;
  • Disabling withdrawal does not remove trading risk — trade permission can still place orders and lose money;
  • On anything unusual, revoke the key on the exchange first, then stop strategies and delete the binding here.

Funds for exchange strategies stay in your own exchange account; deposits and withdrawals remain yours to make there.

07 / TECHNICAL

Technical Failure & Service Availability

Internet outages, server faults, software bugs, delayed market data, API rate limits or maintenance can cause failed orders, delayed cancels, desynced state or risk controls not firing as intended. Monitoring, alerting and retries cannot cover every failure.

In an emergency, log into the exchange directly and manage positions by hand — do not rely solely on what the Quanton interface shows.

08 / AI

Limits and Error Risk of AI Output

AI can misread questions, miss context, work from incomplete data or produce plausible-but-wrong conclusions. Its loss diagnoses, parameter suggestions and market explanations are assistive information — never established fact or a promise of returns.

Before adopting an AI suggestion, verify the underlying strategy, orders, risk parameters and validation results. Do not let AI replace your final control over real money.

09 / ONCHAIN

On-Chain Trading, Smart Contracts & Wallet Keys

Exchange strategies and paper trading need no wallet key. Only opting into live on-chain trading or Polymarket uses a signing wallet. Keys are encrypted under a separate master key and can never be viewed or exported after setup — yet custody itself still carries intrusion, leakage and mis-signing risk.

  • Use a small dedicated wallet only — never your main or high-value wallet;
  • On-chain trading also faces contract bugs, malicious tokens, approval abuse, RPC faults, gas swings, MEV, slippage and irreversible transfers;
  • Close open live positions before deleting a wallet; after deletion the platform keeps no corresponding key.
10 / THIRD PARTY

Exchange, Network & Third-Party Risk

Quanton depends on exchanges, blockchains, market-data feeds, cloud, email and other third parties. They may suspend service, change rules, restrict accounts, delist assets, freeze funds or suffer security incidents. Quanton does not control them and cannot guarantee their availability or accuracy.

11 / COMPLIANCE

Regional Restrictions, Regulation & Tax

Digital assets and automated trading are restricted differently across jurisdictions, and rules change. It is your responsibility to confirm that using Quanton, connecting a given exchange, trading a given asset or using leverage is lawful where you are, and to declare and bear any taxes.

12 / RESPONSIBILITY

Your Control and Your Responsibility

Protect your password, email codes, exchange APIs and wallet credentials; use strong passwords and never share accounts. Keep assessing whether a strategy still fits the market and your situation, and pause real funds whenever risk stops being understandable or bearable.

No disclosure can list every possibility. Commit only money you can afford to lose entirely; for personalized advice, consult an independent qualified professional.

Confirm before you proceed

By using live trading features you confirm you understand that automation executes rules and cannot predict markets; that you may lose everything committed; and that you will actively set permissions, limits, monitoring and contingencies.
